OUR SUMMER ACTIVITIESCappy’s Fundraiser The Loveland Schools Foundation held a fundraising event at Cappy’s on June 21st. Cappy’s donated $1.00 per pour and Bagel and Deli, the food truck at Cappy’s, donated 20% of their sales that day. It was a successful fundraiser. Cappy’s is one of the Loveland businesses who gives back to the community often and generously. We ask that you include them in your next visit to downtown Loveland. 4th of July Parade For the first year, we were able to participate in the City of Loveland’s 4th of July parade. Members Dean Cain, Khloe Broelmann, Colette Ledford, Patti Pedicini and Josh Rand, represented the Loveland Schools Foundation. While the temperature was in the 90’s, it didn’t deter the crowd of spectators! It was a joy to throw candy and see the excitement in the faces of the children. Watch for us in the Homecoming Parade on September 26th! LHS Information Night Judy Leamy and Beth Wexler, two of our board members, attended the LHS Information Night on August 20th. They were able to speak to many parents about our Foundation and the support we give to our school district. We have grown much over the last 18 months due to our visibility at events such as this. You will find us at other district events throughout the year.
