The winter weather has not slowed us down!  The Loveland Schools Foundation has some very exciting upcoming events we want to share with you.  Grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit down in a cozy chair and read what we’ve been up to!

You Are Invited!

In March, we will be honoring this year’s recipients for our Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Faculty.  The event will take place at The Landing Event Center in downtown Loveland on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 6-8 pm.  We would love for you to join us for this special occasion.  Our recipients are listed below.  Complete information on the event and ticket purchases can be found through this LINK.

Our Newest Project Partnership

Outdoor classrooms have proven to enhance the learning experience for students and teachers alike.  We have seen firsthand the impact an outdoor space can have from the success of the Steve Kenyon Memorial Outdoor Classroom at the high school.   The Loveland Schools Foundation is excited to partner with the LCSD to build an outdoor classroom on the LIS/LMS campus.  

This is the ideal location to support the over 1,300 LIS/LMS students and staff, as well as the approximately 1,600 people who enter and exit the building through this area weekly.  We are pleased to have this space available for use as an outdoor classroom and a community resource.  We invite you to donate to our fundraising efforts.  To learn more about this project and how to donate, please click HERE.  

Flying Pigs!

The Loveland Schools Foundation is an Official Charity Team for the 2026 Flying Pig Marathon!  

The 2026 Flying Pig Marathon will be held May 2-3, 2026!

LOOKING FOR RUNNERS!

Are you a runner or do you know a runner that would like to help us promote the Loveland Schools Foundation?  The Foundation is looking for participants that would like to help us raise funds for our upcoming projects by providing you with a 25% discount at the time of your registration. This discount code can be used for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Open Relay, 10K, 5K, and the Flying Fur. 

YOUNG RUNNERS!

We will also support our Loveland students through The Flying Pig Kids' Marathon youth fitness program and on race weekend cheer our kids on as they compete in PigAbilities and the 26th Mile, helping set the stage for a lifetime of healthy habits. Shopping Rewards

Do you shop regularly at Kroger or Dorothy Lane Market (DLM)?  The Loveland Schools Foundation is now enrolled in the rewards programs for both Kroger and DLM.  

To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:

Simply visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account you can search for Loveland Schools Foundation either by name or EV234 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.

To Use the Dorothy Lane Market Good Neighbor Program

At the end of each calendar year, Dorothy Lane Market donates to local non-profits based on the preferences of their DLM Club Card members. When members select the Loveland Schools Foundation and shop with their Club Card, a portion of your purchases are credited to LSF.

Positive Impact

Last fall, the Loveland Schools Foundation awarded over $15,000 in staff grants.  We received many notes of thanks from those staff members who received a grant.  Through this LINK you can see pictures of the students using items purchased through grant awards.  This is what makes all our fundraising efforts worthwhile and makes us extremely grateful to our community sponsors and private donors for their support.  If you have not yet donated to LSF, consider being a partner as we continue to brighten the future of our schools by donating HERE.
