Jennifer Shaftel
Jennifer Shaftel is a seasoned writer, educator, and advocate, bringing over 20 years of diverse experience to the Loveland Schools Foundation team.
Jennifer earned her BA in English Literature and Secondary Education and her MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in nonfiction. She began her career as an alternative school high school English teacher before being inspired to move into writing and advocacy work.
Most recently, Jennifer served as the grant coordinator for LIFE Food Pantry. There, she developed, secured funding for, and implemented several key initiatives to further LIFE’s mission and help the food-insecure in our community.
Jennifer and her husband reside in Loveland with their two children and one cantankerous rescue mutt. In addition to spending time with her family, Jennifer enjoys working out, riding roller coasters, and reading.
