Master Sergeant David Timmons

Master Sergeant David Timmons has served as a 51C Contracting NCO culminating as the (A) Battalion Sergeant Major of the 925th Contracting Battalion, Fort Drum, NY. He led major acquisition efforts, including serving as the Lead Contracting Officer for the Army’s Blanket Purchase Agreement for Commercial Unmanned Aircrafts and has provided over $100M in contract support to the 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum Installation. During his most recent deployment in support of Operations Inherent Resolve he was the Theater Contracting Chief that covered all contracts within the regions of Egypt, Lebanon, Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Education from Marshall University and an MBA from Webster University. Beyond his military career, he remains active in his community through volunteer work within youth sports and music programs, coaching soccer, baseball, and flag football while supporting a variety of youth music initiatives.
